Iran. editor-in-chief Mina Saadadi:
“What was intended as a one-off publication has captured the hearts of a wide audience, featuring stories about daily life in the country, and bringing Iranian and non-Iranian journalists together.
The response was overwhelming. Universities used Iran. as educational material, people linked in various ways to the country kept asking when the next issue could be expected, bookstores and libraries ordered copies, travel agencies, airlines and other companies showed interest. The glossy reached Iran itself, where at least one generation had never seen such a thing. Some Iranians received it by post or by email (in pdf format), and offers were made to republish it in Iran. Iranian tourists visiting neighbouring countries were able to get copies.
The second issue of Iran. is soon available in over six countries. Copies can be purchased in the Netherlands from more than 100 different bookstores. IRAN. is coming soon in Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, United States.”
